Happy October to our CNS families! We hope your family is fully settled into the school routine and have been fully enjoying the season.
Our children's teachers have been leaning into the natural world each day, guiding our little ones to look up or down at the wonders nature provides. They have been coaching our children in the rhythms and routines of the day: hand washing, checking in, greeting neighbors and listening to circle time.
Those of you who have been able to get into the classroom for your helper day have been able to see these special routines first-hand. Observing your child at school and meeting their friends is such a special experience and I am so grateful to CNS for providing this opportunity for all of us.
Outside of the classroom, I also hope you have been able to connect with CNS friends at our various social events or through your cooperative participation job.
We have two very exciting activities coming up. The first is the fall clean up, where parents work together to tidy up the school and the grounds.
The second is Raise Craze, our kindness fundraiser! You may have noticed the front playground is without swings. This year, we will use the funds generated by Raise Craze to purchase new swings for the front playground! With your help, we hope to install 6 swings + 2 toddler swings WITH an accessible swing.
We have many exciting upcoming events and ways to get involved. Please browse the events page to learn more.
